    IT'S OPEN SEASON!
Season 3 brings fresh matches, new challenges, and a chance to reshuffle your team and play with someone new.
From now until the start of the official season, open challenges are now available! Challenge other teams on the ladder or swap for a new partner - ladder positions will be based on whatever position you end up in at the end of the open season.

                      JOINING A LADDER GROUP

To join:
- Request the relevant group link.
- Wait for approval from the Ladder Admin.
- Once approved, submit your team name on the group — this will represent your team throughout the league.

                      TEAM PLACEMENT AND PARTICIPATION

                  - New teams are automatically placed at the bottom of the ladder upon entry.
- Players may participate in more than one ladder (e.g. Men’s and Mixed or Ladies’ and Mixed).
- Each player may only enter once per ladder.

                      MATCH RESULTS AND COMMUNICATION

                  - After each match, teams must submit results promptly to the WhatsApp group.
- Any queries, disputes, or clarifications should be sent directly to the Ladder Admin, who manages all updates and communication.

                      CHALLENGING TEAMS

                  - Teams can challenge opponents up to 5 places above or 2 place below them on the ladder.
- Challenges must be accepted within 48 hours — failure to do so results in a forfeit for the challenged team.
- Teams cannot challenge each other consecutively.

                      SCHEDULING MATCHES

                  - All matches must be played within 10 days of the challenge being made.
- Both teams must offer at least 3 possible date/time options, including:
one weekend day,
one weekday, and
one evening
- If scheduling fails, the offending team receives a yellow card, and the challenge is released.

                      MATCH OUTCOMES AND RANKINGS

                  - The winning team of a challenge moves up to the higher ladder position.
- All teams below shift down one place.
- Once a match is scheduled, it cannot be rearranged or cancelled unless both teams agree within the original 10-day period.
- Failure to play or communicate properly results in a yellow card.

                      INACTIVE TEAMS

Teams that do not find a match within one month will be moved to the social pool (position 29) until they rejoin active play.

WHATSAPP GROUP RULES

                      CHALLENGES

The ladder groups are exclusively for proposing, organizing, and sharing results for all ladder matches. Keep all communications directly related to challenges.

                      SCORES

After completing your challenge match, please share your results in the group. This allows for transparency and tracking of progress within the community.

                      DATES

Please refrain from discussing dates and times for challenges in the group. Instead, use direct messaging to resolve scheduling conflicts with the relevant team.

                      RESCHEDULING

All rescheduling must be done in Playtomic and we encourage using the app chat for this purpose. Any rain-related changes will follow our Rainy Day Policy at the club, which is subject to change.
